There are many ways you can help the Friends of Wehr support Wehr Nature Center. Here are some suggestions:
Giving Tree
Put your name (or a loved one’s name) on the beautiful Giving Tree in the lobby of the Center. Add a personalized leaf to the tree in bronze, silver, or gold by financially supporting the on-going needs of Wehr Nature Center. Make a donation.
Endowment Fund
Give a gift that keeps on giving. Make a contribution to the growing Endowment Fund. The Endowment Fund helps to insure that Wehr will continue for future generations. Make a donation.
Boardwalk Plank by plank, section by section, the accessible boardwalk is winding its way through the natural communities at the Wehr Nature Center, thanks to the generosity of sponsors like you. Purchase a plank or section of the boardwalk and a personalized recognition plate will be mounted on the new boardwalk plank or section. Make a donation.
Kids in the Park Kids in the Park has a goal of directing 100% of donation dollars to programs serving the students, teachers and families that participate in programs of Wehr Nature Center /Nature in the Parks. This campaign will help us spread awareness about the importance of nature to the healthy development of children and raise needed funds to continue the education programs at Wehr and Nature in the Parks. Sponsor a School
Many schools need financial assistance to provide field trips for their students. You can help introduce children to nature by sponsoring a class field trip - $175 sponsors a class of 25 children. Make a donation.

Wehr Nature Center offers 11 special public events throughout the year. These events need your support to rent tents and provide necessary equipment and materials. This offers a unique way for you or your business to show your support.

Animal Care Fund
Animal food, upkeep of animal indoor habitats, medical care, and equipment replacement are all included in the expenses of maintaining live animals for education. This is an important contribution to help us care for these important critters. Make a donation.
Send a Kid to Camp
Provide a scholarship for a child to attend Adventure Summer Day Camp. Fees range from $15 - $200. For more information please call Pat Fojut at 414-425-8550. Make a donation.

Shop at the Friends of Wehr Nature Store located in Wehr’s Visitor Center to find nature related gifts for children and adults. All profits support Friends of Wehr.
