Nature Store

Friends of Wehr is excited to announce the reopening of the nature store at Wehr Nature Center. The Friends of Wehr and Milwaukee County Parks Department recently agreed to allow the Friends to take over the operation of the store.

The store’s operating budget has been doubled allowing shelves to be loaded with not only more of our standard offerings but many more new and interesting items we’ve never seen in the store before. It will be filled with more variety and quantity of gifts for children from three to ninety. Of course it will continue to focus on nature, keeping an inventory that’s appropriate for an environmental education center.

The Nature Store shelves are now bulging with new items just in time for your holiday gift buying needs. It's a great place to find all those those gifts for kids and your nature-loving friends and family. And those hard-to-decide-on stocking stuffers? Well, just come and look. You're sure to find great ideas.
